William's Baptism

If this doesn't make you feel broody then nothing will!! Isn't he the most adorable, handsome little man ever?!

It was William's baptism on Sunday. We had a lovely time, Laura and David looked very proud! I got some beautiful photos of Laura...

He was such a good boy, he slept through most of the sevice, it was very hot in the church so he was just chilling out in his mummy's arms. Below is Laura and David with David's sister and Laura's brothers who are the godparents.
Tim couldn't make it because he was too busy feeling ill in a hotel room in Birmingham after a very drunken stag party!!! He had a brilliant time with all his friends, swinging through trees at GO APE and he won his go karting which he was very chuffed with, they had a roast dinner for lunch (to line their stomaches for later!) and then partied the night away! They all sounded like they enjoyed it however I am still not sure how David and Adam managed to survive a church service in the heat... they must have slept all afternoon to recover... I know Tim did!

Well Helen, my beautiful bridesmaid, came over yesterday and we sorted a whole load of stuff - goody bags for the kids coming to the wedding and printed out another 30 orders of service, only another 40 to go!!! Or maybe I will do one between two... that may save some time although I am enjoying making them, they look ace - I want to put photos on here but am leaving it to be a surprise for my guests!

I can't believe it is only 11 days now... ! eeessshhhkk!!! can't wait to have Ant and Gareth arrive tomorrow to see my house and kittens, then go to Guernsey for a week of relaxing with my mum and god mother, and Sam, and my grandparents, and cousins and my teacher friend Katie and her family!!! Oh it really will be lovely to see everyone we love altogether!!!

Well better scoot now after nattering on about weddings, again!

Big hugs, Gemma x

2 weeks today!!!

Hi everyone,

sorry I haven't blogged in a while I have been madly getting last minute wedding bits sorted and loving every second! I have now finished school for the 6 weeks summer holiday and am just so incredibly relaxed, excited and in love!

My husband to be (2 weeks today!!!) is currently swinging through tress with all his stags as he is on his stag weekend and is at the GO APE thing... then go-carting folowed by the Comedy Store and lots of drinking I imagine! I hope he is having fun, I am sure he will be!

So since finishing school I have been to leamington for my pre wedding hair cut which I love, it isn't changed much but Daniel at Blaze does it so amazingly well and makes it feel in such good condition I thought it was a must before the wedding! I also met up with my lovely Milverton ladies and had a giggly girly chat with them about weddings. I have also been so incredibly naughty and spent far too many pennies on honeymoon clothes! I have been good and only bought things in the sale but I proably didn't need so many new tops... oops! Below is one of my bargains, a roxy dress from debenhams! Great for on the beach, I just hope this sunshine holds off although we are not holding our breath!

I also bought the white flip flops... I am going to have them as a back up at the wedding dance for if my feet start hurting in my wedding shoes!

Well I don't have any other gossip, I am just enjoying the summer, reading, chilling out, eating healthily, going to the gym, lying in my wonderful garden in the sunshine and looking forward to the next few weeks of wedding buzziness!!! wohhooooooooo!! whoop whoop!!!

Helen sent me her photos so I thought I would add some of these photos on, I have kept the more drunken ones just for our eyes as I think they may lower the tone of my blog a bit... I apologise for one day having tasteful photos of my handsome fiance graduating to these silly hen night photos....
Above Anna and helen and below us dancing to something where we obviously have to add actions...??
Me looking rather tipsy...

I can't wait to break up as I have a hair dressing appointment with Daniel (the best hair dresser EVER) on the Thursday then have a week to relax and unwind before heading to Guernsey with Ant and Gareth!!! Then one more week after that before our wedding, how quickly time flies!

We got our honeymoon tickets through the post yesterday too which is very exciting, now have to sort honeymoon outfits and money!!! YEY!!!!!!!

Hi,

so I am currently sitting in my lovely lounge slowly recovering from a slight hangover... after the BEST hen party EVER!!!!

The girls did amazingly well and organising it and I am forever grateful to them for making my hen party the most special party I have ever had just for me!

Firstly on Friday Anna arrived with an envelope for me to open which had inside a photo of a posh hotel and it said to go pack my bags because Tim and I were being whisked off for the night for a romantic stay in this posh hotel!! It was lovely, the room was very posh! The bathroom was amazing so we made ourselves look beautiful and went for dinner, drinks and walk in the grounds of the hotel (it was on the river Trent, near Castle Donnington). It was a very relaxing evening and we got a lovely breakfast in the morning too!

Then at Breakfast I had another envelope to open which said that I was now going to be driven to a hotel in Breadsall for a facial! So tim dropped me off there for my facial and then he went off to London for a night with his best man Dave. After my amazingly relaxing facial Anna was there to pick me up with a third envelope that said WELCOME TO YOUR HEN PARTY! So when we got back to my house it looked like this...

And all my wonderful friends were there with fun hen badges on! I was given lots of little pressies like my fabulous veil, sash, L plate badge and some drinks coasters for our new lounge with lots of photos of me on!

We then set off for a picnic at the River Gardens in Belper. Beautiful setting, it rained for a few minutes but then was gorgeous sunshine for the rest of our picnic!
Me and my bridesmaid Helen...
Us Guernsey girls, Hannah, Lian, Kath, me and Katie
Uni girls, Anna, Kate and Helen
My Milverton friend Katie sheltering the Guernsey girls from the rain!

During the picnic all my hens each gave me a fun little pressie that represented a memory they each had of me, was very funny but as they say 'What is said/done on the hen party, stays on the hen party!'
Laura, Me and Fi
Katie and Me
Hannah, Katie, Me and Kath
So after our picnic I got driven to the hotel I had my facial at in the morning, and we all went for a swim in the pool, sauner, steam room and jacuzzi and had lots of giggles and gossips!

After that... YES THERE'S MORE!!!!

We went to another posh room in the hotel and sat down for high tea! We had a pot of tea each, finger sandwiches and lovely scones and cakes! Which was followed by another glass of bubbly (we had already had some on our picnic)! Heavenly!!!!
Me and Kath, it's her turn next as she is getting married in January!
Me in my veil, I feel quite sad now I have taken it off...
Katie and Hannah, with einstein, my boys were so good!
Fi and Laura
Kate beginning to pour the cocktails! Lots more evening photos to come!!!!!!!!!!! The party goes on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
