sunny (almost) Spring day!

So we finally had a good nights sleep off Finley, he did wake at 5am, but we gave him a dose of medicine (he's teething), changed his nappy, gave him a drink and he fell back to sleep till 8am!!!!! This is how we found him once we were all up and ready to go swimming! He is so cute.

below is a very rare occasion when the kids are both playing nicely, I just had to capture the moment on camera!
It's been a beautiful sunny day today, we went swimming this morning and have spent this afternoon in the sunshine playing outside, the children had a lot of fun watering the garden then they set up a gutter waterfall system! Rosie really enjoyed it, they both got very wet and a full change of clothes was needed! Lots of fun.

I've just taken Finley for a nice walk in the sunshine too for his nap, it was so refreshing going for a walk in just my cardi without layering up with gloves, hat, scarf and coat! Lovely!

So Spring is on its way I think,

chat again soon,

HUGS Gemma (no idea who still reads my blog but I love writing it anyway and love reading back on old posts even more)

 Hello,

sorry it's been months since I last posted! I have been so busy with two crazy kids and work. Christmas whizzed by in a blur! It was fantastic, the children loved it this year (especially Rosie as she was completely caught up in 'Santa Clause'...) I imagine each year it will get more and more exciting.

Here are a few updated photos, Rosie and Finley are growing up so fast. They are playing so well together now. Finley is hard work at night as he's teething, we are so lucky Rosie sleeps so well.

Tim is currently in America, so we've been all on our own for a while. The days have been fun and actually quite easy, but night times are awful with Finley. I am very ready for Tim to get back, am seriously considering booking myself into a hotel in Derby to give myself a night of sleep!!

We've had lots of company over the past few weeks, we've managed to see Ant, Rebecca and Chloe lots which has been fun. Plus we've had a few play dates with some of Rosie's nursery friends.
Grandma and Grandy sent us some Peppa Pig pancake mix for today, Rosie loved shaking the bottle and eating her 'muddy puddle'chocolate pancakes. Thanks so much Gma and Gdy!!

Well I will very much try to update my blog more often, especially as I LOVE reading back on old posts so I know I will regret it if I don't keep writing!

Big hugs, chat soon, Gemma xxx
