Thanks mum for the curtains! They are ACE!!! We love them, they make the room look like a real bedroom now. All I need to do is gloss the radiator and we need carpet, but we are a long way off carpeting our floors yet!

They have just discovered the windowsill in our lounge on a sunny day. saturday was a beautiful day, I can't wait till we can start letting the kittens into the garden for a run around, they are going to love exploring!

well no gossip from me, things bumbling along nicely. We sent out most of our wedding invites this weekend so people are starting to receive them, very exciting!!! I am also going for my wedding dres fitting on saturday. I am a little sad that I don't have my mum or sis to come with me, it sucks they are so far away. Never mind!

Okay, so other than decorating and planning school stuff, there is not much going on in my life so you have more cat photos! I promise i have lots of fun things planned for the next few months - katie, kath and Hannah coming to visit, Seonaid's hen party in London, Kate, Anna and Helen coming to visit and going to Guernsey to sort wedding stuff! So soon I promise I will put other photos than kittens... but aren't they just adorable!!!??? Below is a sequence of three photos I took when they were sleeping yesterday... how cute are they cuddling each other?


Below is a painting I got given by the governors at my old school as a leaving pressie, it is of leamington town hall, how gorgeous is it????!! We will have to find somewhere gorgeous to put it in our house, maybe our dining room when it is finished or our lounge!
We gave the kittens a tiny bit of left over salmon (tim couldn't eat all of his cause he was jet lagged) and they LOVED IT, we had better not do it again, we wouldn't want them to get an expensive fussy taste in food.

Hi,

so tim has been away all week and I have been all alone... I miss him so much but he gets back tomorrow morning so only a few hours to go!

My new job is going really well, I am finally settling in a bit and starting to get my head around the new systems and stuff, although i can imagine it will take me another few weeks before I am doing everything properly, there is a lot of new assessment stuff to take in!

The photo above shows the 2nd bedroom. Tim prepared it for me on the build up to christmas then because we were away for christmas, ill over new year then starting my new job I hadn't been able to decorate. Sooooooo... I have been painting every evening this week and I now only have one skirting board and the radiator to finish the entire room!! I think Tim will be very impressed with me!!! It looks good doesn't it? Soon we will save enough money to have the windows done then tim and I can move into this room as it is the biggest bedroom in the house. I can't wait as I love the colours we chose!!!

so more kitten photos! Above is about two seconds before the pair of them dig in their claws and shimmy up my legs!
Oscar looking innocent, he is currently asleep on me and I am trying very hard to stay still so not to wake him...
They were getting a little cold in the middle of the day, so we turned up our heating a bit and put a blanket over our radiator, they LOVE it. Not sure I will show Tim our heating bill this month...
Mum - below can you see he is using his house???!!! So cute, he plays and hides in it more than sleeping but he isn't scared of it anymore!

Well I am feeling much better and Tim is on the mend. I am nervous about starting work but just want to get started now.
Laura and Fi came to visit me on Friday, was great to see them and so much fun seeing Laura's bump! Not long now till she has a baby O'Brien!!!
No other gossip our end, oh other than we had our first trip into Nottingham today, was easy to get to and nice to see shops again after two weeks not spending money. I LOVE shopping!!!!!!!!

Hi,

so tim and I had a bit of a crappyt new year, I had a tummy bug and was sick all day new years eve so stuck between bed and the loo! Tim also is ill with a cold so we were both in bed by half ten and missed seeing the new year in... oh dear, we are a sad pair... we have saved our champagne and have said we will celebrate 2008 when we feel better!

Our kittens are fine, being so cheeky still. They are not nervous of anything and tim spent yesterday building a cupboard for under our stairs and was hammering, sawing and drilling - did it bother the kittens? not one bit!!! They are gorgeous when they are being good boys...

They discovered a little cubby hole next to our sofa that they sleep in at night.
This is Oscar and his cheapy toy - a screwed up piece of paper... doesn't take much to amuse!

Well I am getting nervous now about my enw job so I am going to do some planning and get myself sorted for monday. Wish me luck!!
