And Finley enjoyed his smartie ice cream

A great day had by all!

More photos of Tuesday's shananigans coming up!x

Hello, so here are all our photos from our time at Conkers, it was such a good day. We went on a train ride to get to the advenutre playground (a large park for the children), we did a bare foot walk through water, mud, soil, sand, straw, logs, coal, stones, pebbles and more mud! We had a picnic, there was a maze for the children, a look out tower to climb up, lots of ducks and geese to see, it was magical! And we had sunshien all day long too.

Rosie dipped her toes in this mud but chickened out of walking through it, this mud was a bit deeper than the last one!

 Rosie guiding us...
Our yummy picnic, although Finley was more concerned about feeding the geese than himself, not sure they appreiciated the cucumber thrown at them...
We met our friends Rachel and Jim, and their two twins Rebekah and Edward.
Rosie looking just gorgeous on her bike at the River Gardens park. Rosie and I had been to a birthday party at chuckles on Sunday morning, then we went to the park to get ice cream afterwards!
Rosie has wanted to wear her new school uniform loads! So much so it's already in the wash. We made the most of the warm weather and had a BBQ on Sunday evening.

Rosie loving her new swing set we got her for her birthday, she is already experimenting with all sorts of ways of swinging.
Off to sort the zoo photos now, there'll be more in a bit!!

Then I must write my reports....

BYE xx
Hello,
I am currently on half term, it's been a crazy busy first half of my holiday. Tim and I went to Conkers on Saturday with the kids. It's an indoors and outdoors adventure place, really great fun. Then Bev, Ty, Ethan and Alana came to visit us and we've been to Tycross Zoo and planet happy. The kids loved seeing each other. Just a great start to the week. Now for the not so great half of the week... REPORT WRITING... ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!

So before I start I am going to spend the next hour sorting my photos from this weekend just gone by.
Here are my two videos, first one is us on the train at Conkers, the second one is at the zoo, I can't believe Rosie enjoyed the noisy monkey's so much as she is usually so nervous of animals, she wasn't keen on the elephants though!! (Finley LOVED them!)

More photos to follow!!!
