I have no idea if anyone still reads this, but I often pop back and look through photos and old posts. I have such a collection of fantastic memories, the kids enjoy reading my blog too! I hope it never disappears...
Quick update in a nutshell:
*I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in November 2019 after going to hospital with appendicitis. I have had an operation, radiotherapy and chemotherapy but unfortunately my recent scans shows spread of cancer. So am currently on a new regime of chemo and am hopefully going to have some more surgery soon.
*Due to my ill health I am currently on long term sick leave from teaching. Hence why I have started a new blog (click on the link at the side of my page) to see if I can make some extra pennies in between treatment.
*The kids are coping amazingly well with my cancer and all the treatment/hospital visits that come with it, plus the world pandemic coronavirus! My goodness what a year they have had...
*We haven't been able to go to Guernsey since Summer 2019 which breaks my heart. I get so down about it sometimes as I miss my mum and family there so very much. I hope that this coronavirus and my treatment this year means we can make it there sometime in 2021!
