Hello,

I am getting very lazy with my blog because most of you who read this are on facebook and am always putting photos on there. I will try harder in september to write more as I do like reading back at previous posts to see what I was up to this time last year. I don't want to forget what I have done in this first year of Rosie's life!

We have had such a busy August.

Tim, Rosie and I got back form Guernsey on Wednesday, we had a wonderful time but it was the quickest holiday ever! Time just whizzed by so fast, I wish we'd been able to stay for longer. Rosie was amazing on the plane, far calmer than me! And during our holiday she took everything in her stride and enjoyed it all, still sleeping through the night each night and napping well during the day, we are so lucky to have such a settled little girl.

Tony and Tim are now busy working away on our kitchen. I have taken some photos of how it looks now! It looks like a bomb has hit our house, but is slowly taking shape. I know it will look fab when they've finished!

Rosie is currently napping next to me so I probably should take this time to tidy a bit!

big hugs, gemma xxxx

Below is a dress that i wore when I was a baby! Cute or what?

Tonight Rosie had her first bath in the big bath!!! She got in it with me, and seemed to enjoy it! We are turning her into a water baby as my friend Helen and I took her swimming this week for the first time. I didn't take my camera so couldn't get the moment on camera, but I may buy a chuck away water one to use next time!

Tim dried her after her bath and wrapped her in one of her hooded towels, she looks like a little caterpillar!
She sometimes smiles during her naps, how sweet...
This is Rosie all dressed up to go out to her friend's house today. I love the matching pants and hat!

Auntie Helen came to visit us this week, Rosie enjoyed lots of cuddles. It also gave me the chance to watch Ghost Whisperer without interuptions! Thanks Helen!!!!

Well we have had a busy week and have a busy weekend ahead too. YEY! I love being busy. We're also off to Guernsey next week for our summer hols, we can't wait!!!!

Here is another chatty one! she shocked herself with the new sound she made I think!

(Just for you Ant! it took soooooooooooooo long to download)

Yet again MORE Rosie photos!!!!!

below was after her jabs... she was fine for about an hour then i had grumps and tears all day between feeds, luckily she still slept all night.
How sweet is this, it was taken after she fell asleep feeding - don't worry mum I only left her to take the photo, wouldn't want her to roll right off!
As of two nights ago Rosi sleeps in her big girl's cot in her own room... needless to say I'm not sleeping too well through checking on her every hour but I'm sure I'll relax about it soon. It hasn't bothered Rosie at all and she sleeps beautifully.
She also loves staring at her mobile.

here is Rosie having a chat after baby massage! so cute...

I hope you like my photos, Ant I would like more, also Sam and Catherine if you're reading this I am missing your updates - you must be having lovely, busy summers!

Hello,
we've had a busy few days already and it's only Tuesday! We had baby yoga yesterday which Rosie loved this week, she was such a good girl. Then in the afternoon I practised our baby massage in the lounge (our course is now finished so we're on our own practising now!), Rosie likes her legs being done but then gets a bit bored, I will keep trying as it must be so good for her skin!
I have been trying to get her smile on camera again as she is smiling lots now but my camera isn't quite quick enough and always gets red eye... ragh! Still she looks adorable don't you think?

Below - spot my naughty cat Oscar!! He is bad, he knows not to go in the basket and he knows he's not allowed on the purple blanket!!! Naughty!!!
Rosie is still trying hard to lift her head but it just seems so heavy for her, bless! She is holding it well when sitting up on my lap and is trying hard to lift it when she has her tummy time, but she gets very frustrated as she can't hold it up for long.

Well. Tomorrow we are off to Rosie's new friend William's house, his mum Emma has invited all our mummy and baby friends round for cakes! YUM! Then Thursday Rosie has her next set of jabs... :-(
I am worried, I hate seeing her in pain and I've heard this next set are more painful... not looking forward to it...

I had better scoot now, chat again soon, Gemma xxx

p.s. Ant update blog please!!!! Take lots of photos of your next hol just to make me jealous of being somewhere hot, it's raining again here surprise, surprise!!!

Above is Tim's attempt at dressing our daughter! I love it when he goes upstairs to dress her, it's really exciting waiting to see what she is wearing?! I think he did very well, how cute does she look.

Below is my attempt at mixing and matching her outfits, I think again she looks so cute!
And here she is playing on her mat in her dungerees!

She is being a good girl but very sleepy at the mo, she is playing really intensely for a short amount of time then she tires herself out. Bless!

we've had a busy week doing our kitchen (when I say we I mean Tim!) off to bed in a bit.

bye xxx
