Back home

Ok so Rosie and I are back home. We had a bit of a horrible journey due to delays but she was an angel and slept from take off till landing. We love being back with Tim but I am missing my family lots after such a wonderful week. I really did have an amazing holiday, it went far too quickly. Mum was a super star and fed Rosie most meal times so I had a break from trying to get her to eat (she is still having food issues, it sucks but we'll get there... one day... if not she'll be having pureed jam sandwiches in her lunch box when she's 7 years old)

Mum and I knitted too when I was in Guernsey, we made some hair bands for Rosie, I did the green band and Mum did the flowers, she made the pink one. Cute huh?

Below is Rosie LOVING playing with Grandy's 80th balloon, she loved it, pulling it down then letting it go. Such a sweetie.

Below (spot the hair band I made!) is Rosie in her high chair, it was my grandma's highchair when she was a baby. Rosie liked it!
We went for lots of walks round Bordeaux, was lovely to get some fresh sea air. I do miss the sea so so much.
Below are lots of photos of Mum and Rosie, they both looked lovely for Grandy's 80th party.

Well Mum took loads more photos so you need to go to her blog for more.

I will write again soon, off to get ready for work tomorrow (boo hoo... )

HI all,
we are having a wonderful time in Guernsey, seeing all our family and friends. We miss Tim but he is having a fab time finally finishing our kitchen back in Derbyshire! He has done the oven hood and is currently tiling, looks amazing!!!!

Guernsey has been great. The flight was fine, I am just hoping we get back ok as Tim just showed us the snow in Belper on the webcam... I am thinking the schools will all be shut tomorrow! I just hope the airport keeps open and that my car will get me and Rosie home ok in the snow!!! If not Tim will have to be coming to collect us and we'll have to leave my car there... oh no. The stress!

Here are just a few photos of this week so far, I will upload lots more when I get home.

Happy Valentines day and Happy Birthday to Ant!

Rosie has been painting today, she did the hand print and I helped her with the words.

I am now on half term and Rosie and I are off to guernsey on Wednesday, we are very excited. We wish tim could come too but it costs so much money! I do wish you lived nearer Mummy!!!! Now my sister and her fiance are moving to derbyshire this summer maybe Mum, you should too!!!!

Ant is very excited and we just can't wait to have her near by. The place where they may end up living is only 30 mins away from where we live. YEY!

We;re having a relaxing valentines day weekend, Tim has been playing in his garden and Rosie and I went for a lovely afternoon walk.

Well Rosie needs to be put to bed now, so I had best scoot. Big hugs and chat again soon xxxx

It's been ages!

Hi, sorry I've not written in ages. I've had a disatserous ofsted inspection and a horrible few weeks with Rosie being poorly. We have finally turned a corner thanks to calpol and baby gaviscon. She seems to be on the mend but has lost a lot of weight (not that you'd be able to tell with her cheeks!)

Here are a few photos taken over the past few days. Enjoy!

Last weekend I had a day with my uni girls, Anna, Kate and Helen. We had a wonderful time shopping and we had an evening out in York. Tim and Rosie had some bonding time, they had a lovely time.

Rosie's been so sick every time she eats we ended up having a bowl at the ready. This is her today, on the mend but still hugging her bowl! Cute!

well there you go. Chat soon, big hugs xxx
