Thank you Granny Sue!

Granny Sue has been knitting for Rosie again, this is her new cream dress, how cute does she look?

And her new short sleeved jumper top which says Rosie on it! She loves it!
And another dress from Vietnam, she looks very girly for sure in this one!
Well we have had a busy week last week at work and a lovely weekend with Dave and Vicki. They came to visit us so we walked into Belper on the Saturday and went to the pub, Rosie was a super star, they were very impressed with how well behaved she was. Then we went for a nice walk round the roads near our house on the Sunday. I cooked Saturday night. Lovely!

I have ofsted at school this week which sucks. I will be pleased when it's Thursday. Luckily I haven't been in school today as it sounds like everyone has been a tad stressed!

I must scoot now as I am spending this evening getting my lessons ready.

Our boys are so crazy! They are in very lovey-dovey moods at the moment, maybe with all this cold weather they just want cuddles to warm up! Oscar got himself in the funniest position on Einstien, hilarious!
Our little girl is just as gorgeous as ever, as always we just adore her and we're loving watching her grow and change every day. She rolled over for the first time on Saturday which was wonderful to see! What a great achievement. We did catch it on video but because it took her about 7 attempts it is too bigger video to put on this blog, it would take far too long to download.
She has had yet another cold/cough this week, she is off her food but is happy as anything as always! She just doesn't seem to get phased by illnesses luckily. We had a wonderful snuggle together on Sunday, we don't get to do this much anymore as she sleeps so well in her cot but sometimes when she does fall asleep on me I wish it could last for longer, I love cuddling her like this so much.
How beautiful are her eyes, just like her dads!
This is Rosie in her vietnamese dress! Gorgeous!

well, there you go, a quick update!

off to work tomorrow, after all the snow we've had hopefully this week will be my first full (part time) week so far! Rosie has settled well at nursery but I still hate leaving her.

I had better scoot and get myself sorted for the morning,
bye xxxxx

Snow snow snow!

Above is a photo Tony took of Rosie, I can't remember if I had put it on my blog yet, isn't it gorgeous!
Below are yet more of my photos. I know you must all be so bored by now of seeing photo after photo of my baby girl however we just adore her and can't stop ourselves taking photos. She is just amazing isn't she?
Her first week at nursery went well. She settled brilliantly I think, that's what they told us anyway and I guess we have to trust the nursery staff. I think that's been the hardest thing for me this week putting all our trust in strangers to look after our baby girl but it has to be done. They seem ever so good. She even ate a roast pork dinner (pureed of course) on Wednesday! Go Rosie!
Below is Rosie in a cardi given to us by one of tim's work colleagues, mum I thought you'd like it! It's a bought one not knitted but I do like it, if ever you want to knit any cardis for next winter feel free!!!!!! (is that cheeky mum?)
Below is a cardi and hat knitted by my school secretary Jenny, isn't it adorable? she looks like a big pink marshmallow, edible!!!!!

Well enough about my baby girl. The snow is getting cold and boring now. School went really well last week and I do think that doing a job share is going to make me very organised. I had all my marking done by the end of the day on Friday, and all my planning done by Saturday lunch time. Now I have three days to spend playing with my little girl before Wednesday. It's fab! I just hope we can afford to do this until the next baby Smith comes along (don't tell Tim I said that, he he he!!)

chat soon, bye xxxx

p.s. Ant more photos please!
p.p.s Auntie Diane if you're reading this HI! looking forward to seeing you soon xxxxxx

Daddy was playing the best game today, Rosie loved...

SO SO CUTE!!!
Rosie's cute dungerees that finally fit her, they looked so big 6 months ago I couldn't eve imagine her ever being this big........
We've had yet mroe snow... I'd be happy about it if it was a lot and I didn't have o go to work this week.

My gorgeous girl is just adorable, I love her so very much. She is an angel!
She had to have a head of aqueous cream then left on to absorb before we washed it off, she has bad eczma/cradle crap and we though it would help. It did! And how cute does she look...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

WOW what a month we have had here! It has been one of the best Christmas holidays that we have had, we've had so many visitors and had such a relaxing time not travelling anywhere. We feel very chilled out, even with Tim being at work for most of the hols he feels really relaxed too.

Here are just a few photos, I have hundreds!!!! Above is Rosie looking gorgeous as ever in her new outfit from her Great Uncle James and Great Auntie Jan!!!

Below are photos of us cracking open the bubbly yesterday to wish my cousin a congratulations for getting married and to see in the new year, we had a chilled out time at home playing Guernsey-opoly (I won!!), eating far too much yummy M&S food, drinking bubbly, watching films and in bed by eleven!!! Lovely.

Rosie with all her presents, she was spoilt rotten by all her family and friends, and Granny Sue made her the fabulous stocking!
Rosie has been a super star with sticking to her nap time routine and bed time routine, she has stuck to it so will be all ready for nursery next week...! (I am dreading it)

Mum and Sam were amazing and enjoyed spending time with Rosie, they babysat whilst Tim and I went out for a romantic Christmas meal in Belper.

Ant and gareth flew all the way from Vietnam to have Christmas in the UK, they had a few days up here seeing all of us!

well, I will try to write again soon but am starting back to work next week and Rosie has some 'get to know you' sessions at nursery on monday and tuesday so we will be rather busy. I hope you all have a wonderful new year and here's hoping 2010 will be full of fabulous times xxx
