Do you like Rosie's new Easter bonnet? Her Granny Sue made it for her. We had a letter from nursery saying there is an Easter bonnet competition next week, I was going to make one using Rosie's hand prints made into a flower but it didn't really work, then my offered to make one. I think it is GORGEOUS!




I may make her hand prints into a flower to hold on to, I have laminated them and cut them out so all ready to stick together into a flower shape. Now what can I use for her to hold? A spoon??? hmmm.... will have to go investigate! I will add photos once it's done.

Tim getting on well in Texas. Rosie and I getting on well here too, she has had a good two days at nursery and school for me is going ok so far this week.

I think Rosie's hair has grown over night, it suddenly looked really long and curly today! How cute!!!

Our naughty cats keep bringing in frogs from our pond, it's a nightmare as it was only meant to be a water feature not a real pond but the frog seemed to like it and has now made her home there and has been very busy....

It's a shame Rosie isn't old enough to watch the frog spawn turn into tadpoles and then frogs. Hopefully when she's older we'll still have a pond with frogs (that is if the cats haven't frightened them away). They are so naughty, they catch the frogs, bring them in then leave them. They don't want to play with them or kill them, they just bring them in as presents for us. Nice.

So Tim has now left to go to America, he won't get to Texas till 10pm ish tonight our time, then he has to get to his hotel. Having left at 5am it is a long day for him. Hopefully he'll have anice time and get lots of sunshine. It does sound like he'll be working hard though, poor thing!

Talented Granny Sue - the entire outfit

No time to write now as bedtime for Rosie but I will write again soon, here are the photos from today. We went to Rosie's friend Grace's Christening and party afterwards. It was very handy for us as the after party was at the pub at the end of our road!

Look at the latest stunning outfit my mummy has knitted for Rosie!!!! It is ADORABLE, thank you so much mum, she loves it! Below is the matching head band and it is all to go with a dress she made but you'll have to wait till Sunday to see the whole outfit. I don't want to put her in it and have her vomit on it before the big day, we are off to her friend Grace's Christening on Sunday. She is going to be the best dressed baby there i think! Look at the matching knitted shoes!!!! amazing!

Plus she is already on Year 4 maths work. Intelligent too.
And she also is still playing peek a boo with any fabric she can lay her hands on including her dresses. How sweet!

Well there is our latest update. Tim off to america next week, :-(
I must admit I am dreading doing the nursery drop off and pick up plus work plus bathtime plus feeding and inevitably clearing up vomit ,and dealing with all the nighttime wake ups (we've had a lot recently, maybe teething?)... with out tim. He is an amazing daddy and helps me so much. we are a fab team. Bring on April I say.

Finally our kitchen is done!!!

How amazing does it look? good hey? Tim has been fabulous and gotten it finished, the tiling was quite a challenge I think, lots of cutting to do but I think it looks wonderful!

So that is our house now finished! I want to now finish 'dressing' it as such with more mirrors and paintings/artwork. Especially in our dining room.
Rosie is finally feeling better after yet another bug, she picks them up so easily it seems, poor darling. Hopefully she'll stay well for a little while, especially now the sun is shining, maybe it will warm up and burn away those winter bugs!

I went shopping this morning to spend my birthday money and this is what I returned to, a very relaxed Daddy and cats with a soundo Rosie, loving the sunshine!
And yet another cuddle with her daddy, so cute!

She is still loving walking everywhere when we hold her hands and arms, she hasn't worked out yet that she has the power to do it herself.
She is loving Oscar and Einstein this week and seems particularly interested in their feet? very strange!
She also loves her walker, however we need to now move everything in her reach that is dangerous as she grabs at everything and anything! cute cute cute!
