It's growing isn't it Mum!!!!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Here is Ethan being shy, the shyness didn't last long on Christmas day!
My cousin Bev and I, she is giving me lots of tips on pregnancy and hopefully more tips on how to look after a baby when it arrives!!!
We spent the Tuesday night before Christmas with our friend Kath, Jason and Katie. Below Kath and Jason who are all ready now to get hitched in a few weeks time!!! I can't wait!!!
Katie, me and Kath
Our dining room table before our wonderful Christmas dinner, we spent the Saturday before Christmas having our own little Christmas day (seeing we couldn't carry our stockings to Guernsey). We had a yummy breakfast, spent the day at Chatsworth walking round the house and eating scones with jam and clotted cream and a pot of tea! Then home to open our stockings and eat a delicious roast dinner! BLISS!
Our boys had a wonderful day too opening thier stockings of cat nip bites and balls! We just picked them up today and they were much better behaved this time round thank goodness!
Me in Chatsworth
My hubby in Chatsworth
Mr and Mrs Smith, aren't we stunning!!!
Two beautiful horses came past pulling a carriage, very Christmassy!
Chatsworth had a big table all decorated beautifully in Christmas crockery and cutlery, one day tim and I will own a house like that and a table like this one....! hmmm... maybe not.
There were these huge wreaths every so often hanging on doorways and from the ceiling, not quite up to Judith's standards though we didn't think!
Well we had a fantastic Christmas. chat again soon, hugs, Gemma xxx
Here are our cute boys, they are so intelligent they recognise birds on TV! They hear a bird and run to the TV to watch, so adorable! I think it's clever as below are vultures, well they have never seen a real life one so clever to recognise one on TV...
They loved this one... chicks!
And Einstein watching ducklings this morning...
Below they are waiting for Santa...
Here is my new dress, I think I may wear it on Christmas day and to my friend Kath's wedding in January. It is a maternity one so will still look lovely even with bigger bump. I may get a bright colourful fascinator to go with it and a colourful shawl. It is also a dress I would wear without a bump, I really like it. I think I will get some pretty tights too, as this photo was taken with leggins and they don't look as nice as tights.
So here is my bump at 16 weeks. I am getting tim to take a photo each week to keep a record as I grow.
Above my boys are already waiting for Santa! Too bad they'll be in a cattery when santa visits... maybe he'll visit them there!!!
And here is an old one to show you how they used to fit in tim's lap...
And below today... they are far too big to be doing this! I think Oscar lasted about 5 more mins before he fell off!
And me, just to show you how they used to fit with the laptop. So so so cute!
Well I have had the most cookery of cookery days, I have made cheese straws, mince pies, apple mush and am currently glazing my carrots with cider to go with an amazing roast dinner with all the works! Tim has had a bath with a glass of wine, I love looking after him. He has been working hard all day on tiling, grouting and in the loft sorting the light fittings. He deserves looking after!
So I have had a few grumpy moments today about our christmas tree, but it is all ok now. I was worried it was a bit spindly and looked a bit dead... (it's from our garden), but now we have decorated it and made it look pretty I like it. Not sure how long the needles will last as it's not one of the special non-needle-dropping trees, fingers crossed it will last till new years eve!!! Our lounge now look svery christmassy and pretty.
Me and my gorgeous hubby...
Me next to my stunning christmas tree
My boys, I think if Einstein was a human he would be very upset by the angle of this photo. He looks rather fat!!!!
This is our new bedding we have bought with some of our wedding gift vouchers. It looks stunning and is the softest bedding I have ever felt! Now we have 3 gorgeous king sized sets, we feel like our grown up lives in our home are coming together so wonderfully!
And our house is really getting sorted, only bathroom to finish then kitchen and dining room. Tim has finished sticking the tiles on which look ace, and I have painted most walls with first coat of white paint. I can't reach the wall behind the bath so Tim will have to paint that bit (he is a little taller than me). Can't wait to get it finished, we have set ourselves the target of new years eve!!!
Above is the photo of snow that we woke up to this morning! We were hoping it would continue so we coul dhave the day off work but no such luck, it had melted by lunch! It did look pretty this morning and was so funny seeing our cats freak out in it! Einstein acted like it was a scary monster and puffed up his tail!! Very cute!!
We just had the most wonderfully relaxing weekend in Kent, we wished we could stay all week. Was so lovely to just walk out the front door and into the fields and forests, it is such a beautiful part of the country and tim's parents really do live in a gorgeous area. I love spending time with the horses and in front of their log burning stove, heavenly!
Here is tim and ben...
Looking back down one of the fields, patch was on her way to see if we had any carrots for her!
Well I have been in a right grump today. Not sure why, maybe it's hormones. I just feel grumpy. Tim is sanding the bathroom then he is going to come and give me a cuddle to cheer me up! I am now going to scoot to cook him something yummy for dinner. We do look after each other!
