We've had yet mroe snow... I'd be happy about it if it was a lot and I didn't have o go to work this week.

My gorgeous girl is just adorable, I love her so very much. She is an angel!
She had to have a head of aqueous cream then left on to absorb before we washed it off, she has bad eczma/cradle crap and we though it would help. It did! And how cute does she look...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

WOW what a month we have had here! It has been one of the best Christmas holidays that we have had, we've had so many visitors and had such a relaxing time not travelling anywhere. We feel very chilled out, even with Tim being at work for most of the hols he feels really relaxed too.

Here are just a few photos, I have hundreds!!!! Above is Rosie looking gorgeous as ever in her new outfit from her Great Uncle James and Great Auntie Jan!!!

Below are photos of us cracking open the bubbly yesterday to wish my cousin a congratulations for getting married and to see in the new year, we had a chilled out time at home playing Guernsey-opoly (I won!!), eating far too much yummy M&S food, drinking bubbly, watching films and in bed by eleven!!! Lovely.

Rosie with all her presents, she was spoilt rotten by all her family and friends, and Granny Sue made her the fabulous stocking!
Rosie has been a super star with sticking to her nap time routine and bed time routine, she has stuck to it so will be all ready for nursery next week...! (I am dreading it)

Mum and Sam were amazing and enjoyed spending time with Rosie, they babysat whilst Tim and I went out for a romantic Christmas meal in Belper.

Ant and gareth flew all the way from Vietnam to have Christmas in the UK, they had a few days up here seeing all of us!

well, I will try to write again soon but am starting back to work next week and Rosie has some 'get to know you' sessions at nursery on monday and tuesday so we will be rather busy. I hope you all have a wonderful new year and here's hoping 2010 will be full of fabulous times xxx

Pretty outfits and visitors!

We have had a lovely week, now Rosie is well again and back to her normal, happy self. She is starting to get back to her normal sleeping patterns at night too thank goodness. We had a full nights sleep last night which was lovely.

We had our first Christmas party last friday. We did a secret santa with all my new mummy and baby friends, and we all ate lots of yummy goodies (Rosie of course had her usual mush! yum!)
she is confidently sitting on her own now, I still put cushions round her as she does sometimes topple and it's always nice ot have a soft landing!
Her godmothers came to visit this weekend with all their partners, we all had lunch at the pub, walked a little at carsington, came home to drink cocktails and eat pizza! They bought her some gorgeous presents. Auntie Kate bought her these wicked spotty trousers, I think she looks fab!

Note in the background, bottle for Rosie, beer for Daddy!

Rosie is having a few problems with eating lumps, the health visitors today said we should let her touch her food more and explore the textures etc... hm... messy business! I think next time I may turn up the heating and strip her down to her nappy or we'll end up with rather a lot of washing. It is fun watching her play and explore her food. Not sure it helped, but I guess we need to be patient.
Helen, Anna, Kate, Rosie and Me!
Today we had a visit from Auntie Elaine (my cousin) and her fiance Rob, they were on their way back to Guernsey and popped in for lunch. It was lovely to see them both and catch up.

WOOHHOOOO! Father Christmas will be getting ready it's December!!!

So we decided to get a fake christmas tree this year as we figured if rosie does start rolling or anything she won't eat any fallen needles, plus in the long term it is cheaper, and easier at the end of Christmas. It does look very real actually, we are quite impressed! Do you like it? I put it up last night, Rosie loves looking at the glittering tinsel in the dark and the tre lights are on...

Rosie is now well on the mend, she is on soya milk for a few weeks to sort out her tummy as it's gone all lactose intolerant. Seems to be doing the trick! She is also sitting in her high chair to eat now, she can finally hold herself up enough for it to be safe. Our baby girl is growing up.
I seem to forget my boys nowadays on my blog, they never seem to get their photos taken when Rosie is around. They looked so happy yesterday I had ot show you how cute they are.

Plus some more rosie photos for your enjoyment!

bye xxxx

my poorly girl

Rosie has been a poorly baby this week, on wednesday she woke up and was sick then was vomitting all day, she couldn't even hold down water. we took her to drs.

We had a nightmare night wed night but she stopped being sick at about 6am on Thursday morning, yesterday she spent sleeping mostly then perked up in the evening. She is finally back on milk and is starting to have her food again in tiny amounts. Poor baby!

Today she still has an upset tummy but is not being sick.

She is much happier, above see she is sitting on her own!!! I still have to be very close by as she still hasn't quite got her balance all the time. As you can see below I have to grab her hand to steady her quite a lot.

Below, Granny Sue do you notice her outfit, it's the french vest and dress you gave her over a pair of joggers we had don't you think she looks like a cutie???

Sitting on her own again, my super star!

Tim bought Rosie a first christmas hat from America. How cute does she look, Ant notice the dress you found in that seconds shop in Woking! It still fits can you believe!!!I think she looks like a little elf
Rosie has discovered a new squecky sound over the past few weeks, it is very cute but usually goes on for longer than this, she was a little camera shy!

I had better scoot now, bye xxx

Rosie giggling!

Rosie has had the best day ever, and so have we actually! Well a relaxing one anyway. After a week of madness. Tim got back from America to a sick wife! I had a cold which then turned into a tummy bug. I have only started to feel better today.

So today we went on a family day trip to the garden centre (how grown up does that make us sound!?) and all the Christmas lights and stuff was out. Rosie slept the whole time so missed all the sparklyness!!! We will have to take her again next week. Then we went out for lunch to the local pub. It was great, we fed Rosie first then she was a good girl and played while we had our lunch! what an angel!

This afternoon she has been playing like crazy, how happy is she on the video above? she loves peek a boo now and blowing bubbles on her tummy. Oh and when we moo at her like a cow, she giggles at that too!

Ant - thanks for the blog update, yes please to photos next week! Chat soon.

Thought you would all find this funny as I am trying to make her giggle by making donkey noises, she didn't find me quite as funny as Tim plying peek a boo!

Well this week we are going to catch up with our mummy and baby friends, seeing I have been ill I haven't seen them in ages it feels like (last tuesday so actually only a few days ago!). We are going into school for a staff meeting tomorrow, fingers crossed Rosie will behave herself...

I had better scoot, chat again soon, hope you like the videos xxxxx

oops! I forgot the bib.... bath time it is!!!!

Her sleepsuit needed to go in the wash anyway but now it certainly does, I totally got carried away feeding her and forgot her bib! I won't do that again!!! he he he!!!
She has been a menace eating at the moment. Below is her first taste of chocolate pudding! She wasn't too sure... I don't think it will be long till she realises it's the best food on earth!
Tim will be back in a few days. Rosie and I miss him lots.

Here you go Mum, another video for you as requested seeing you can't be here with us :-(

Got to scoot, Rosie needs a bath!!!
