Rosie trying to sit up with help from me! she loves chatting to her mobile phone!! xx
Above Rosie right now!

Below, I could't resist! I know Halloween is a while away but this outfit just called out to me...

Below, Papaya and banana - YUMMY!

Rosie is really wanting to be sitting upright all the time now, she gets frustrated when i don't lean her forward, I don't think it will be long before she sits up on her own!

Hello,

we've had a lovely week and fab weekend so far too! Last week Rosie and I met up with all our mummy and baby friends a few times, unfortunatlely all the babies seem to enjoy spreading their colds and Rosie is now poorly with a cold! Good for her to build up immune system but so sad to see her snuffling away. I have just settled her for a nap in her lovely squishy ring so hopefully that will help her feel better.

She is loving tasting lots of new foods, she now likes papaya, banana, apple, pear, carrot, butternut squash and swete potato. She does NOT like avocado!!! Oh she also likes baby oats and baby rice!

My cousin Bev had a baby on Monday, Alana Rose and my friend Lucy had her baby on the same day called Abi. Congratulations both of you lovely ladies!!!

Also my friend Helen is due in two days... so exciting!!!

Well I had better scoot and use this time whilst Rosie is sleeping to do something useful... or maybe I'll watch a movie.....!!!! BYE xxx

Weekend in Kent

We've just had a lovely few days relaxing down in Kent. We spent time relaxing, walking round the forests and we went to Canterbury on the Friday. Rosie enjoyed seeing her Grandma and Grandad, her Auntie and Uncle, her Great Auntie and Great Uncle, her cousin and Great Granny!
oooo, and Tigs too!!!

Rosie also had her first ride on a horse, if Toupe the pony counts as a real horse! I think she does, Toupe is a me sized horse!!!! not too high up!!!

Above Rosie visiting Ben in the retirement field and below helping Judith do the water... not sure Rosie and I were particularly helpful but she liked looking at the horses!

On the Saturday we walked through the forest quite early, it was so beautiful and peaceful. The spiders webs were stunning in the morning mist and early sunshine!

Tigs was beautifully behaved and enjoyed running round the fields, she truely is the luckiest dog in the world!

Great Granny Jean having a cuddle

well I should scoot and get myself tidyed up and do the washing! bye xxx

p.s Ant photos and update please!!!!?????

hello,
I've not written in ages as I've been very busy! Rosie, Tim and I went on a few walks this weekend which was fun. On Saturday we walked around part of carsington water then had tea int he cafe. On Sunday we walked a circular route starting from Belper river gardens, it was really lovely weather and great to be in the fresh air, however we did end up dragging Rosie's pram up a field full of cows and had to lift her over a few stiles!!! What fun!!!

Here are some up to date photos for everyone, they are on facebook too but I'm not sure everyone has facebook! Plus mum is must be quicker for you to see these than on facebook I'd imagine now you're in france?
Rosie had her 16 week check this week ( a few weeks late as she's now 18 weeks and 4 days old!) and all was fine. She now weighs 14lbs 2oz! I can't believe how quickly time is flying... she is growing up too fast already.

We're off to kent this weekend. I must charge my camera battery so I can take lots of photos.
I went out on Saturday night for the first time since Rosie was born, Tim looked after her and she was a good girl for her Daddy! I think she slept most of the time and was soundo when I got home! We are lucky to have such a settled girl (having said that I can hear her howling at the moment as she's tired and ready for bed!) I should scoot to help settle her.
