Hello,
so I am officially on maternity leave! YEY! It hasn't really sunk in yet and am still thinking school thoughts all the time, wandering if I have forgotten to do something vitally important... I hope I stop dreaming about school soon!

Everyone was so incredibly generous on my last day, I had lots of cards and pressies from children and parents, including a lovely card from one of my naughty children's grandparents thanking me for making a difference to her grandson. That was really nice.

And all my work colleagues spoilt me rotton, they got us a hamper of baby bits - baby shower gel, baby baths tuff, cotton wool, digital thermometer, bibs, bath towels, nappy sacks, baby wipes, car shades, baby grows, scratch mits, baby socks, dummies... and tons more, they also got us a gorgeous CD player for our nursery (a portable one including a USB drive) and a CD of mozart music. They have also got us a changing bag for the baby but it hasn't arrived yet (they bought it off the internet). Tim and I feel very spoilt!
The kitchen staff and cleaners also got us a pressie, one of them crochet-ed (have NO IDEA how to spell that?) this stunning shawl/blanket, it is SO cosy, will be lovely to wrap around me and baby on cold nights, and as baby is growing up, it will love snuggling in it!
The children also bought me lots of chocolates, I enjoyed munching on them last night with my feet up on a chair, Oscar was craving attention, here is is being adorable as ever!
So there you go then, I am now a lady of leisure until this little baby arrives! I am hoping it is a little early as I am rather uncomfy now. I had a bit of a traumer on Thursday with horrible pains in my left side. Dr thinks I either pulled a muscle/ligament, or the baby had moved sides inside of me and is squishing something. Either way it hurt a lot, especially when the baby moved. It is wearing off now, maybe it was my bodies way of saying REST! which luckily I now can do.

Well I am off now, chat soon, Gemma xxx
