We're fed up with snow now, although last week we did get some really lovely sticky snow! Great for building snowmen and snowdogs!

Hello, sorry for not writing much, It has not been a very good month, we've had lots of colds. Rosie really struggled to shake it off and had to have some time off. We've also had some really sad family news. Just makes you think how precious life is and how lucky I am each and every day to have my family. It's quite late, I will leave you with these photos and say hello another time! x

Spring is in the air!
Hello everyone, here are just a few photos of our past few weeks since I last posted. Rosie above was enjoying dressing up in Finley's t-shirts (this is a 12month t-shirt that even Finley is too big for now!)
Below Finley enjoying his strawberries.
A rare moment of calm! Rosie colouring and Finley playing with his cars and trains. They are starting to do this more and more which is rather lovely and peaceful!
I took the children to my school on Monday morning before the rest of the class arrived, Rosie loved doing drawing and writing, and Finley loved playing in our wendy house role play area set up as a babies bedroom.
We've done some painting this week and the children have enjoyed sitting at their little pink table to eat their picnic lunches.
We've had the playdough out and below is what Finley did to his cars, he spent a long time concentrating on doing this.
I had a lovely birthday on Friday, shame I had to work but it was fine. Then Tim and I had a lovely chinese take away and some wine. Yesterday was a really sunny day and we went to Matlock Park Farm, it was really refreshing being out and about in the fresh air soaking up some sunshine! Rosie loved the trampoline the best and Fin;ey's highlight was the digger!! A really great day trip out.
This was my favourite bit, the baby kid was just GORGEOUS and wanted lots of cuddles, the mummy goat looked really annoyed that her baby was getting all the attention so I gave her ears a good scratch too!! I want a goat now!!!!!
Finley driving a tractor!
Rosie bouncing high!
Then they spent the afternoon in the garden in their sandpit, Tim polished the slide so they go really fast! They chalked on the paths, they rode on their scooters and generally loved being outside!
It has been a lovely weekend with swimming this morning too, now having a chilled out afternoon. Best scoot, just wanted to update the photos.

sunny (almost) Spring day!
So we finally had a good nights sleep off Finley, he did wake at 5am, but we gave him a dose of medicine (he's teething), changed his nappy, gave him a drink and he fell back to sleep till 8am!!!!! This is how we found him once we were all up and ready to go swimming! He is so cute.
below is a very rare occasion when the kids are both playing nicely, I just had to capture the moment on camera!
It's been a beautiful sunny day today, we went swimming this morning and have spent this afternoon in the sunshine playing outside, the children had a lot of fun watering the garden then they set up a gutter waterfall system! Rosie really enjoyed it, they both got very wet and a full change of clothes was needed! Lots of fun.
I've just taken Finley for a nice walk in the sunshine too for his nap, it was so refreshing going for a walk in just my cardi without layering up with gloves, hat, scarf and coat! Lovely!
So Spring is on its way I think,
chat again soon,
HUGS Gemma (no idea who still reads my blog but I love writing it anyway and love reading back on old posts even more)

Hello,
sorry it's been months since I last posted! I have been so busy with two crazy kids and work. Christmas whizzed by in a blur! It was fantastic, the children loved it this year (especially Rosie as she was completely caught up in 'Santa Clause'...) I imagine each year it will get more and more exciting.
Here are a few updated photos, Rosie and Finley are growing up so fast. They are playing so well together now. Finley is hard work at night as he's teething, we are so lucky Rosie sleeps so well.
Tim is currently in America, so we've been all on our own for a while. The days have been fun and actually quite easy, but night times are awful with Finley. I am very ready for Tim to get back, am seriously considering booking myself into a hotel in Derby to give myself a night of sleep!!
We've had lots of company over the past few weeks, we've managed to see Ant, Rebecca and Chloe lots which has been fun. Plus we've had a few play dates with some of Rosie's nursery friends.
Grandma and Grandy sent us some Peppa Pig pancake mix for today, Rosie loved shaking the bottle and eating her 'muddy puddle'chocolate pancakes. Thanks so much Gma and Gdy!!
Well I will very much try to update my blog more often, especially as I LOVE reading back on old posts so I know I will regret it if I don't keep writing!
Big hugs, chat soon, Gemma xxx

Hello, so we had a lovely week with my Grandma and Grandad. They had a lovely time seeing the kids too, and meeting baby Chloe and seeing Ant's house for the first time. Here are just a few snaps! I have a busy evening trying to plan some road safety lessons... so I had best scoot!
We've now made two batches of mince pies! YUMMY!
Must go, chat soon, Gemma xx

Hello everyone, not sure when I last updated or which photos I put on, so sorry if some of these are repeats!
We've had a lovely October, a bit of a horrible start with lots of bugs and colds, but it all settled down and we've had a nice few weeks. Here are just a few photos of our past few weeks. Above is Rosie's drawing of a panda bear, she spent ages on it and I thought it was brilliant!
Below are the two new pieces of knitwear Granny Sue has made, the children look lovely in them I think.
Rosie and Finley are being very cuddly at the moment, it is hard to catch it on camera but I have had a few tries...!
We had a halloween party yesterday, I totally forgot to take any photos once everyone had arrived but we did get a few snaps with rebecca, rosie and finley before all the crazy kids got playing!
Finley is loving his pushchair and he is enjoying brrrmmmm, brrrmmmmm, brrrmmmmm-ing his cars!
Rosie collected lots of autumn leaves at markeaton Park and then printed them using paints. She is such a little artist!
