My little boy turning 1!

 Hello, sorry for not writing sooner. I am now back at work (although I only have this week left before the summer hols) so time is going crazily fast! Life at work with two kids is mad, plus Tim has been to America then Warwick, and I have had a wonderful night away on Saturday to Leamington. We certainly are keeping busy! Off to Guernsey in a week for our summer hols - CAN'T WAIT!!!

So here are a few photo updates for you all, Finley turned 1 on the 4th July. We celebrated on the Sunday with a little party as we were at work on Wednesday so he was at nursery on his actual birthday. It's been so busy I haven't got round to doing thank you cards yet but I promise as soon as I break up for the summer hols I will get right on to it!!! Everyone spoilt him rotton.

He is now walking (as you can see above) although he is still a bit unsteady and hasn't quite mastered how to stop!

Below is his hedgehog birthday cake I made for his actual birthday and took to school to share with my work colleagues! A bit later on you'll see the gorgeous no.1 chocolate cake that Ant made for his birthday party, it went down VERY well!

 Auntie Ant is expecting her 2nd baby in September, this is Rosie pretending she also has a baby in her tummy...! Cute!

 Finley looking very grown up all of a sudden now he's up walking. Where did a year go? It whizzed by so fast!!!! We are loving it, we're very lucky they both sleep so well! We're all very excited about the fun times we have ahead now our little family is complete.

 I babysat for Rosie's little friend William last week, they both enjoyed 'looking after' Finley... Finley was having a great time with them.

 He now climbs everything... we are in for a world of trouble now he's properly on the move....

 My little girl, looking not so little and very tall and grown up now, how long does she look in this photo? I have booked her to start ballet and tap in September!! What fun!!

 Crazy hair day, we're having a relaxing day at home today so both Rosie and I have bed heads still.

Well no more news or gossip my end, we're all feeling very much in need of our summer hols, can't wait. I will take lots of photos and fingers crossed we'll even get a little bit of sunshine!?! Who knows!!!

 So we've had a lovely Queen's jubilee weekend, lots of celebrations. The twins came to visit on Sunday, we watched the Thames Pageant on TV, family round on Sunday evening, a Teddy Bears Picnic in the memorial gardens on Sunday and Chatsworth today for a picnic. It has been very relaxing.

Now for a crazy few weeks ahead - back to work next week, wedding this weekend, Tim to USA soon and Mum coming over to help me out with the kids! It's going to be a fun June. (Well anything can be better than 'chicken pox May'!!

Finley dancing!!

SUMMER HAS ARRIVED!!!

 Hello, sorry I have not written in a while. It has been a crazy month!! Rosie had chicken pox a few weeks ago and she is still recovering, and a few days ago Finley started with the spots and is now covered!! I am hoping he copes ok, especially in this heat. So far he's being amazing, just a bit moany (understandably!). He is napping well, still eating and drinking and is sleeping at night too so far. Fingers crossed he can carry on!

 The weather here is amazing. So hot and sunny, we are playing in the garden and having lots of paddling pool sessions. Finley is loving the garden now he can crawl around (he was obviously a bit small to enjoy it last summer) although I did have to fish out a snail from his mouth a few days ago...

 Here he is in his new shirt, we are getting ready for Dave ad Vicki's wedding in a few weeks time! I think he will look very smart.

 He has learnt to answer his toy telephone now, very cute to watch... he's not quite got the hang of lining it up to his ear!!
