Brownies and Football!

Thought you'd like to see my two beautiful children in their club clothes! So Rosie starts Brownies tonight (having done Rainbows so far), she is very excited! And Finley now does football, we will have to get him into a club soon enough as he is actually very good.

It's been a while.... again!

Sorry I don't write much, life is just so busy as you can imagine! No idea if anyone ever looks but I still look love looking back and reading my old posts.

I thought I would add a selection of photos since February. So much has happened. Rosie turned 7 years old!!! And Finley is 5 in a few weeks! Can you believe?

I have been offered a new job starting in September. It is a leadership role and full time, so I am very nervous but also incredibly excited.

So here goes.... I have a million photos I could add but only going to choose a few (maybe 100!!) haha!

Granny Sue made the kids a mermaid and shark blanket, needless to say they love them and use them all the time for watchign TV and snuggled at bedtime in them!
Sports relief they dressed up all sporty for school
Finley is now getting so confident at his reading and is beginning to write for fun, he can now sound out words and write simple sentences all on his own, we are so proud!
Our new hamster Charlie has settled in well now and is huge!
At Easter we went to Kent to meet Scruffles the new puppy, I bet next time we go she will be huge!
Granny Sue came to stay the last week of the Easter holiday and we went to the zoo. The kids loved the giraffes and the elephants.
Granny Sue in the butterfly house

Then we took Granny to the tramway museum

This term Rosie had her school trip to Warwick castle, it was a fabulous trip! I was very lucky and got to be a helper.
I loved the birds of prey display
 Being silly!!
Being sensible, just before our ride round Carsington water on the bikes.
 Charlie!
Making cakes with Rex the dog. The class pet that comes home for a weekend with one child. Finley got picked this weekend.
We took Rex to watch Rosie swimming
 Rosie playing brides, so adorable!!!
Tim and I took the kids to Whitepost Farm, it was actually amazing. Loads of different animals in differnet types of enclosures. We loved the reptile house.

Rosie's 7th birthday cake! We had an animal magic party followed by pizza then icecream sundaes! Was a great party. I loved it, best one yet I think!

On her actual birthday we took Rosie to the hanging gate, her favourite pub for lunch!
Luckily the weather is finally warming up (althought ipping it down today), so we have had lots of sprinkler and paddling pool sessions over the past few weeks.

Rosie went to a paint a pot party and she was amazing at adding lots of detail to her teddy. I loved watching her concentrate, she is so artistic!
 Charlie!!!
 Loving the summer BBQs!
 Making spider cookies!
Finley pulling a silly face, even though he was giggling and grinning away before I took the photo! Menace!!
We haven't seen much of the cousins but we managed a play date a few weeks ago, was so lovely to see the girls. They are growing up so fast too.
Lovely for them to all play together
Last weekend we took the kids to the Heigths of Abraham, we went in the cable cars and inside some caves! The kids loved it.

Beautiful views at the top over Matlock

Yesterday was sports day. I felt so proud watching my babies!!! Rosie came 2nd in her running race and Finley came 1st in his running race.

My gorgeous babies, Oscar and Einstein, they are as snuggly as ever.
Well there you go, just a snippit of our past few months. We are always so busy but enjoying life. I love being busy, would hate it if we were ever bored and didn't have anything to do!

Must dash as it is a Saturday and we have Rosie's swimming lesson today, plus she has a friends birthday party later and Finley having his hair cut today! Crazy!

Take care and I will write soon (maybe!!!) xx
