Above is Finley loving his teddy as always, he now is enjoying pushing around Rosie's pushchair. Rosie is doing very well at sharing it.

We've spent lots of time in the garden between the rainy showers. Finley is learning to walk in his wellies, which is funny to watch as he's a bit wobbly. I remember Rosie finding it quite tricky as they are so much heavier than shoes.

We also realised we needn't bring out toys as all Finley wants to play with is the tub of pegs...

 We tried to get a nice picture of the three of us but either Rosie pulled a silly face or Finley wiggled off me! These children!!!

Same for Rosie and Finley, trying to get a nice picture of the two of them looknig at the camera is almost impossible, they are such squirmers and pull silly faces... I will keep trying!!!

 On bank holiday Monday we had the morning at Carsignton, the children rode on their bikes and played at the park, they even did a bit of colouring at the bird shelter. Sweet!

 Finley was so pleased to be out his pushchair and on his trike, he must have felt like such a big boy riding alongside his big sis!

Well no gossip this end, just busy getting ready for my new job and waiting for Ant's baby to arrive!!!

ipads, cat baskets and trampolines!

 Well it's been a lovely week, we've been busy (as usual), the children are being angels most of the time and tiny little devils the rest of the time... Rosie isn't sleeping well (having nightmares which disturbs her night, and ours!) so is tired and a bit grouchy during the afternoons. If she naps it means she doesn't fall asleep till late then is tired the next day... so we're not letting her nap which = a very grouchy Rosie till bedtime... any tips welcome!

Finley is a cutie pie as always, he has taken a liking to the new cat bed, it is very soft! poor Oscar got booted out so Finley could cuddle up to Einstein, who is too lazy to move away!

 The kids now have matching waterproof all in ones ready for the autumn rain, they went to the park in them this morning as it was very wet, then the sun came out this pm and it was scorching! Followed by thunder storms and more rain this evening, the weather cannot make it's mind up - but we don't mind as we are now kitted out for anything!!!!!

 We bought a trampoline this week off some friends who were upsizing to a bigger one, this is a perfect one for our two, it is just big enough for them both to bounce, and it wears them out too! Great purchase!!!

Well I must dash, Pirates of the Carribean is calling!!

twisting tots picnic!

 We had a great week, lots of fun get togethers with friends. On Tuesday it was the twisting tots picnic in the park, the kids loved it and the sun came out for us. We played in the park, did some twisting and ate a yummy picnic! Finley joined in lots but got a bit confused on 'see the bunnies sleeping' when all the big kids lay down for part of the song... sweet!

It's lovely now he's walking, he's a real grown up toddler now! Rosie is enjoying playing chase with him and they do a lot of tumbling and rolling round the floor!

It's going to be a really special time with them, I love them more every day (if that's even possible to love them more!)

Summer 2012!

 Hello everyone (if there is anyone still reading my blog!? I love writing and looking back over the years so I am going to keep at it as and when I get the chance!) So we've had a crazy spring with the chicken pox, illnesses and just being busy, then we had THE MOST RELAXING holiday in Guernsey, and now I am buzzing in summer holiday relaxation mode! Here are just a few of the hundreds of photos I took in Guernsey, plus a few since we got home... enjoy!

 We had such a great time, Rosie and Finley loved the beach. Finley has come along amazingly well with his walking and balance since July, he is now a real little toddler! He and Rosie both amaze me daily and make me love them more each day (if that's possible!)

Below is Ant (due in a few weeks!!!!!) reading to our little brood, cute cute cute!

Well my new job starts in a few weeks which is fab. When I started this blog back in 2006 (was it?), I started it as a diet diary for me to keep track of my weight. I have been doing slimming world which is great, and am now back to the weight I started at in 2006. So from now on it's back on track to try to get to my goal! I did it once back in June 2006. I can do it again, wish me luck!!!!
