Pretty outfits and visitors!

We have had a lovely week, now Rosie is well again and back to her normal, happy self. She is starting to get back to her normal sleeping patterns at night too thank goodness. We had a full nights sleep last night which was lovely.

We had our first Christmas party last friday. We did a secret santa with all my new mummy and baby friends, and we all ate lots of yummy goodies (Rosie of course had her usual mush! yum!)
she is confidently sitting on her own now, I still put cushions round her as she does sometimes topple and it's always nice ot have a soft landing!
Her godmothers came to visit this weekend with all their partners, we all had lunch at the pub, walked a little at carsington, came home to drink cocktails and eat pizza! They bought her some gorgeous presents. Auntie Kate bought her these wicked spotty trousers, I think she looks fab!

Note in the background, bottle for Rosie, beer for Daddy!

Rosie is having a few problems with eating lumps, the health visitors today said we should let her touch her food more and explore the textures etc... hm... messy business! I think next time I may turn up the heating and strip her down to her nappy or we'll end up with rather a lot of washing. It is fun watching her play and explore her food. Not sure it helped, but I guess we need to be patient.
Helen, Anna, Kate, Rosie and Me!
Today we had a visit from Auntie Elaine (my cousin) and her fiance Rob, they were on their way back to Guernsey and popped in for lunch. It was lovely to see them both and catch up.

WOOHHOOOO! Father Christmas will be getting ready it's December!!!

So we decided to get a fake christmas tree this year as we figured if rosie does start rolling or anything she won't eat any fallen needles, plus in the long term it is cheaper, and easier at the end of Christmas. It does look very real actually, we are quite impressed! Do you like it? I put it up last night, Rosie loves looking at the glittering tinsel in the dark and the tre lights are on...

Rosie is now well on the mend, she is on soya milk for a few weeks to sort out her tummy as it's gone all lactose intolerant. Seems to be doing the trick! She is also sitting in her high chair to eat now, she can finally hold herself up enough for it to be safe. Our baby girl is growing up.
I seem to forget my boys nowadays on my blog, they never seem to get their photos taken when Rosie is around. They looked so happy yesterday I had ot show you how cute they are.

Plus some more rosie photos for your enjoyment!

bye xxxx
