my poorly girl

Rosie has been a poorly baby this week, on wednesday she woke up and was sick then was vomitting all day, she couldn't even hold down water. we took her to drs.

We had a nightmare night wed night but she stopped being sick at about 6am on Thursday morning, yesterday she spent sleeping mostly then perked up in the evening. She is finally back on milk and is starting to have her food again in tiny amounts. Poor baby!

Today she still has an upset tummy but is not being sick.

She is much happier, above see she is sitting on her own!!! I still have to be very close by as she still hasn't quite got her balance all the time. As you can see below I have to grab her hand to steady her quite a lot.

Below, Granny Sue do you notice her outfit, it's the french vest and dress you gave her over a pair of joggers we had don't you think she looks like a cutie???

Sitting on her own again, my super star!

Tim bought Rosie a first christmas hat from America. How cute does she look, Ant notice the dress you found in that seconds shop in Woking! It still fits can you believe!!!I think she looks like a little elf
Rosie has discovered a new squecky sound over the past few weeks, it is very cute but usually goes on for longer than this, she was a little camera shy!

I had better scoot now, bye xxx

Rosie giggling!

Rosie has had the best day ever, and so have we actually! Well a relaxing one anyway. After a week of madness. Tim got back from America to a sick wife! I had a cold which then turned into a tummy bug. I have only started to feel better today.

So today we went on a family day trip to the garden centre (how grown up does that make us sound!?) and all the Christmas lights and stuff was out. Rosie slept the whole time so missed all the sparklyness!!! We will have to take her again next week. Then we went out for lunch to the local pub. It was great, we fed Rosie first then she was a good girl and played while we had our lunch! what an angel!

This afternoon she has been playing like crazy, how happy is she on the video above? she loves peek a boo now and blowing bubbles on her tummy. Oh and when we moo at her like a cow, she giggles at that too!

Ant - thanks for the blog update, yes please to photos next week! Chat soon.

Thought you would all find this funny as I am trying to make her giggle by making donkey noises, she didn't find me quite as funny as Tim plying peek a boo!

Well this week we are going to catch up with our mummy and baby friends, seeing I have been ill I haven't seen them in ages it feels like (last tuesday so actually only a few days ago!). We are going into school for a staff meeting tomorrow, fingers crossed Rosie will behave herself...

I had better scoot, chat again soon, hope you like the videos xxxxx

Her sleepsuit needed to go in the wash anyway but now it certainly does, I totally got carried away feeding her and forgot her bib! I won't do that again!!! he he he!!!
She has been a menace eating at the moment. Below is her first taste of chocolate pudding! She wasn't too sure... I don't think it will be long till she realises it's the best food on earth!
Tim will be back in a few days. Rosie and I miss him lots.

Here you go Mum, another video for you as requested seeing you can't be here with us :-(

Got to scoot, Rosie needs a bath!!!

Gin night!

Above Rosie playing with her friend Gracie, I will upload a video in a bit if it's not too long. They love each other!

Rosie had a long nap and she was due to wake up so I let Oscar join her, he was desperate and had been trying for half an hour. Bless him, he climbed on so carefully and then snuggled himself up next to her, so so cute. She didn't even notice!

Tim is away this week so my new mummy friends have been keeping me company, we had a come dine with me night with a twist, we each made a gin cocktail and voted for our favourite. It was lots of fun! Unfortunately I didn't win. Amanda had bought the best prize ever, a cheapy medal engraved with gin night 2009! FAB!

Mum do you think we put the doydee cup to good use???
Below Amanda and Jo
Jo and Siobhan with the winning cocktail - Gin-gl-bells! It tastes like refreshers!
Emma and Amanda (Emma's husband works with Tim and we only found out after a few times after we had met!)
Claire and Me
Claire the winner!!!!!
And now for lots more Rosie photos as requested by Granny Sue

Lazy Sunday afternoon

We have had a lovely weekend, we had a nice relaxing day yesterday for tim's birthday, we went to Derby shopping in the morning. Then tim had a nap in the afternoon because he was very tired after a crazy week at work and he had a night out with his work lot on friday night. Then we bought some delicious food from M&S for the evening, yum!!!

Today I had a lunchtime nap and ended up with Oscar snuggling on my back... he's a monkey!!!
Then we went for a lovely afternoon walk in the autumn sunshine, it is surprisingly cold! we needed to really wrap Rosie up, how cute does she look?

Well Tim is off to the USA on Tuesday so I am going to be SHATTERED looking after Rosie on my own, he does so much in the evenings when he gets home from work and helps at the weekend, he is a reall hands on Daddy. I am a very lucky Mummy. We will really really miss him! I hope the boys behave and don't get into mischief this week. Chat soon xxxx

Christmas is on its way!!!!!

Hi, I hope you like my new blog layout, I thought I should find one that represents this time of year, now halloween is over I am officially allowed to get excited about Christmas!

I have been wrapping presents this afternoon whilst my little girl is napping in her donkey. She wore herself out at twisting tots this morning. She giggled loads at the jitter bug boggie, loving the 80's music already!

So we had a phone call last night from Tim's boss to say he has to go to America... NEXT WEEK!!! He leaves on Tuesday for a week, Rosie and I will miss him so much but this may mean he won't have to go in the new year which will be good when I start back at work.

Below is a photo of Rosie standing, she was doing so well at learning to sit on her own but has now stopped wanting to even try and sit alone, instead she goes like a plank and wants to stand all the time. It is very tiring holding her up all the time, she moans if you lie her down now, cheeky monkey! At least she can be upright in her jumperoo!!

Rosie loving her cow toy, she has decided she loves cows. She finds i so funny if you make a moo-ing noise. Tim and I were moo-ing at her yesterday and she was in fits of laughter, gorgeous to watch and hilarious watching Tim and I moo-ing at our daughter!!!
Her donky can be round like above for her to sleep in, and below it can be turned into a semi circle for her to sit upright...

Below is Einstein and his latest 'catch'... he is so weird. He came running in all excited because he had caught some pondweed and a stick. Hm.

Well I don't have any more gossip and Rosie is stirring, I had better scoot. BYE xxxxx
