Happy Halloween!!!!

Rosie just adores her jumperoo! She can now bounce in it to make the music start, she giggles a lot if you clap at her! Just GORGEOUS!

My cutie pie daughter has been a super star today, no choking (although I am so nervous about feeding her...) and she has been such a happy girl! She's giggled so much today. We've been out with our mummy baby friends and popped to the dr to get some eczma cream. Tomorrow we are going to get organised and post all our Guernsey Christmas pressies, hopefully with the postal strikes they will get there by Christmas.
NIGHT NIGHT!! xxxxx
Hello again,

Rosie has been awake since 5.30am and has finally given in to have a nap! She is a menace! So I have taken the time to play on my blog again (putting off hanging out the washing!)

I had a lovely day yesterday with my friend Katie, and her daughter Phebes. They enjoyed seeing Rosie. However, after they left I had a disaterous evening because Rosie choked on her carrot and sweet potato puree. It was so scary, I stayed calm as she was choking and helped her clear it by slapping her on the back and leaning her forward like the first aid man told me to (I did a first aid baby course a few weeks ago), she then projectile vomitted three times EVERYWHERE, and I mean everywhere! We were both covered, the kitchen floor was covered as was one of the dining room chairs. She had a little cry then was fine... I was not! Luckily it was just as Tim got home so he sorted us out. Now I am all nervous to feed her again in case she does it again. Poor baby girl.

Well I had better get going we are off to the dr to get some eczma cream and E45 cream on prescription (well I'm not paying for it when I get it free on prescription for another few months!). Unfortunately getting Rosie into her car seat will wake her up so I may have a very grumpy baby girl on my hands in ten minutes time! wish me luck!!!!

p.s. Ant, love your blog!

hello,
so I have been having fun changing my blog layout, do you like?
Rosie is a bit poorly at the moment so is having an extra long nap, bless her. She is a bit snuffly and off her milk. Hopefully she'll be feeling better soon. I had her weighed today and she is still growing well so I am sure this bug won't cause too many problems, she has plenty of fat supplies!!! Unfortunately because she is off her food she is waking hungry in the night so I feel like I have a new born again at the moment, my poor baby!
I have my gorgeous friend Katie coming to visit us tomorrow which will be lovely, then on Thursday we are off to our friend Emma's house with all my mummy and baby friends.
I don't really have any more gossip I'm afraid so I'll take more photos for next time. Big hugs xxx

Sorry it's sideways!!!!!!!

Granny Sue and Grandpa Sam went half and half with Tim and I on this jumperoo for Rosie's Christmas pressie! She has got it now though as it is for 6 months onwards (but she'll never know she didn't get in on Christmas day!)

Tim and I have also been super duper organised and have done most of our christmas shopping already! (Just as long as certain items arrive in time from the post office... we'll see!)

Rosie has been a little off colour this weekend and we're finding it a nightmare to get her to drink her milk. She is fighting it and doesn't want it at all, she seems perfectly happy as normal but just won't eat! RAGH! These little babies do make us worry!

Better scoot, bye xxx

Rosie and I have Grany Sue visiting this weekend. It's so lovely to have her here, we're having lots of fun. Tim is away walking in Scotland, he has text to say they have done 4 munros today. I hope the weather has been good for them.

Mum, Rosie and I have been busy shopping today, we have started buying a few Christmas stocking fillers for Rosie. Babies R Us is toy heaven for children and grown-ups!!!

This is the toy Auntie Annie and Uncle Pete bought Rosie when she was born, she really loves kicking the ball and making the bear sing to her! When she is a little older she will enjoy posting the balls through the holes and spinning his paws!
Granny Sue has enjoyed watching Rosie eat her foods, she gets in such a mess it is funny to watch! Today she had a peach pudding made with rusks. YUM!

We are getting lots of smiles this weekend, Rosie is a very happy little baby. She is also sleeping well, she has impressed Granny Sue. Bottle at 7pm alseep by 7.15pm, however she does wake every ten mins for a little moan, then falls asleep again. It is lovely to have the evening back, X factor here we come!!!

Here is Rosie playing on her gorgeous new quilt from Great Granny Jean, I took some photos ages ago but they accidentally got deleted, so I remembered today to take some more. Isn't it lovely? Rosie enjoys playing on it and when she's a little older she can use it as a cot quilt. Gorgeous!!!

Below sitting up (still holding on to me - or me holding on to he, but she is managing to sit on her own for about 4 seconds. not long enough for a photo yet!)

Tim gave me a head scratch the other day... I couldn't resist showing you Ant!!!!
Einstien loves Tim so much he decided to jump up and sit on him whilst Tim was standing... that wouldn't make sense just reading it so I took a photo as evidence!!!! he's a nutter!!!
Rosie had her first bottle at lunch time today, I am starting to wean her off me before I go back to work. Unfortunately it upset her normal routine, she thought it was night time as she usually has abottle before bed... so she napped for ages. I woke her after an hour and a half just incase she slept for 12 hours thinking it was actually night time... poor baby. Hopefully she'll get used to the changes soon enough.

well, this weekend tim is in scotland so my mummy is coming over to kep me and rosie company. Rosie can't wait for get some grandma sue cuddles! I can't wait either of course. will be fun!

I had better scot rosie ready for bed. Hopefully she'll still sleep after today's weird nap times!!

Look at our tiny baby in her big girl's high chair!!!??!! How sweet is she? she is still a bit tiny to sit and eat in it so when she feeds she sits on my lap at the moment, but it really won't be long till she is in her chair for every meal! wow time is flying, this time last year we had only just found out we were expecting! how fast time goes...

Below is Rosie's new warm winter beret that Grandma Sue knitted her. How adorable does she look! All my mummy friends are envious that I have such a talented mummy.
Here is Rosie looking cute yet again, Ant thinks Rosie looks like my Grandad when he was this age. I can kind of see it, Grandma thinks so too a little!
Below is the cardigan Grandma Sue knitted when Rosie was in my tummy, she was convinced at that point that Rosie was going to be a boy. We have already had a comment from an old lady that Rosie was a very handsome boy!!! How rude!!
This week has been one disaster after the next. First Oscar was really poorly, he went to the vet and had a temperature. So he needed an injection of antibiotics. Then Tim's car died AGAIN... ragh! Then Einstien got ill, also temperature and needed antibiotics - of course with no car was a nightmare sorting times to actually get him to the vet. THEN... someone used my bank card so had to cancel it and get a new one. So every morning this week Tim has had to clean up cat sick before going to work and we've had to feed them chicken, they are back on normal cat food now and seem to be on the mend. Hopefully that is it for things going wrong...
Below Oscar feeling sorry for himself...
Below is Einstein starting to feel better...
here's my little girl trying to sit up. She is balanced by a lot of toys right now, she still hasn't got her balance but I don't think it will be long.
She is loving her food at the moment, she loves peach the best but also likes butternut squash and pear mixed together. below she just enjoyed her first taste of peas mixed with... wait for it... carrot, sweet potato, apple and pear!!! What a fruit and veg medley!!! she loved it!!!
Well we've had a mad week as I've said but also fitted in going to our new friend Amanda's house with her little boy Baxter, and a few of the other mummy and babies came along too. I made cheesecake! And today we had our final baby massage session, we got a certificate!

Rosie is such a good little sleeper now, we have our evenings back. She sleeps from 8pm till 6am now. It's lovely!

wish me luck for having a better weekend and week. fingers crossed!

bye xxxx
