Ant has been hounding me for more bump photos. This was me last night just before our evening out. Tim and I went for a romantic meal to the hanging gate, a lovely pub with wood burning stoves and delicious food!

Ant has been getting me all excited about being bridesmaid next year, it's a shame I won't be able to try on dresses this summer (seeing I will be huge by then followed by being little preoccupied with giving birth and looking after a tiny baby! ) but by Christmas we can start trying them on, although by then sure she will have picked something beautiful - at least I will have an incentive to loose any baby weight!!!

So tim has started on the dining room, scarping the freeze off and tomorrow I will give it one coat of white so he can see which bits he needs to fill and sand. At the moment the brightness of the pink makes it tricky to see what actually needs doing. Our nursery carpet is also arriving tomorrow! yey!

Well I had better scoot, we are having a relaxing evening in tonight. I am planning on a fabulous menu for my uni friends visiting next week... I am going to do a dinner party for them on our new dining room table!!! yey!!! yey!!! yey!!!!!

So here is my growing bump! I was quite achey yesterday and I think it was stretching pains, as I feel bigger today than I did yesterday! Or maybe it's the position the baby is in? who knows! I am getting all sorts of kicks - some downwards into my bladder and others outwards on my right hand side! I am so excited about June now, it's so silly as I shouldn't be wishing time away, especially as in June I will be shattered looking after this new tiny baby - I just can't wait to meet him/her!!!

Below is our dining room table!!!!! Isn't it GORGEOUS???!!! We love it, I just cooked a delicious meal for Tim. It is lovely to sit up at the table, so much more social than eating in front of the TV too. This weekend our nursery carpet is arriving so we can put together the cot, and also start to scrape the dining room freeze followed by painting it - finally getting rid of that horrendous pink! yey!
Oscar has already decided the chairs are very comfy!

Well do you like it???

I am off now to snuggle with my husband.

Above is our full garage and below is our once empty skip! We have had a VERY busy day!
After 3 hours of Tim heavy lifting and me light lifting!!! We filled the skip and emptied the garage, including all the garden waste and the whole area outside our kitchen which was full of rubbish from our bathroom we have just done up. I was not convinced we would fit it all in but it is amazing how much stuff crams into these skips!
Below our full skip... I feel so much lighter just knowing our garage is empty again (ready to fill up when we do up our kitchen!)!
Below is my bump at the moment, it seems to have stopped growing this week, maybe I will have another growth spurt next week! Baby still wiggling and kicking away, Tim felt his 2nd kick today too which was lovely.
Below is one of Katie's photos taken at Kath's wedding, I thought it was a lovely one of my handsome hubby and me!
And below, I couldn't possible not put a photo on of my gorgeous boys!!!

Well I had better scoot, off to enjoy our baby wiggling inside me!!! (I love every little kick!),

Me at 21 weeks above! I think this top emphasises my bump as it looked HUGE today! Everyone at work thought I had doubled in size since Friday. Maybe it's all the cereal and chocolate I am eating... I had better cut down a little or this baby will be born made of chocolate and it's blood will be milk!!!!

Below is tim's DIY skills at there best yet again, he has used up all the left overs from our upstairs bathroom to 'do up' our little downstairs loo! He glossed the cupboard doors, put new handles on, retiled the back of the sink, put a new loo seat on and put hooks up on the back of the door to hang hand towels on. It looks very swish now!!! do you like?

So next room... the dining room! We have to scrape the freeze off before re painting it all neutral and seeing what the walls actually look like (it is currently that deep fushia pink colour... ew). Did I tell you we invested in a dining room table too so that arrives on Saturday. Plus we are going to try and book a skip for this weekend too and start emptying out our garage again, I think we may need two though as it is so full of stuff!

Well I am off to bed, hugs, Gemma xxx

Einstein and Oscar have been very cute this weekend! Above is Einstein on his bean bag. Below is him on tim. he never climbs up me, but loves his daddy! He can sit there all day, he's been very clingy this weekend, not sure what he will do when tim goes back to work tomorrow!

We have had a mad day of spending... oh dear! We bought a dining room table with the last of our wedding gift vouchers at debenhams, was a fab deal down from £799 to £249, table and 6 chairs. Can't wait to do up the dining room and have a dinner party!!!

Mum and Sam also bought us a cot for our little baby which was very kind of them. We haven't put it together yet but tim has been madly busy finishing off our nursery so that we can have it carpeted then we can set up furniture. I know it is still early but I feel that I would rather do it now whilst I have the time and energy than closer to the birth when I feel like an achey whale!!! Do you like our winnie the pooh wall stickers? they look fab!
Below are some wedding flowers that Kath and Jason gave to us after their wedding as they were jetting off on honeymoon. They were very beautifuk in our lounge.

Well I had better scoot now, I am tired and crocodile dundee is on. chat soon BYE xxxxxx

p.s. Ant I love the bed spread, gorgeous colour!!

Here are our 20 week scan photos taken today - it all went really well and all the measurements were on the lines (meaning it is all ok and average for 20 weeks). The baby wiggled around all over the place and was busy kicking my bladder! It has grown so much since the 12 week scan, you can clearly see the little beads that make up the spine and it's profile. The middle photo was when the baby curled up in a tiny ball! Very cute!!! It also turned to face us and had it's hand by it's mouth. Amazing!

20 weeks

Here you go Ant - you wanted more bump photos! I got asked today when I was due, by a lady on my numeracy course. It was the first time someone has asked without knowing I was pregnant (so I must look pregnant not just fat!!!)

I am also feeling kicks!!!! It started as fluttering popping feelings over the Christmas hols but yesterday for the first time it was an actual wiggle and kicking, it feels incredible!
We have our 20 week scan tomorrow morning so fingers and toes crossed it will all go well.

Chat again soon, Gemma xxx

Kath and Jason's wedding

The now Mrs Kathryn Bowley! Looking stunning!

We went down to Hertfordshire yesterday for a wonderful wedding, my Guernsey school friend Kath married Jason. Was a lovely ceremony and a great day. They had a wonderful time and are now off Skiing in France for their honeymoon.

Her dress and jacket looked stunning, a very floaty fabric, beautiful!

Hannah, Kath, Me and Katie (my Ladies'College girls)

The first dance

And these two cuties spent the whole evening dancing, even when Kath and Jason's friend's band played rock music these two danced away - the little boy only head butted the floor once, scooped himself up after a little cry then carried on!!!
My gorgeous Hubby and Me!
Have quite a bit of work to do now as have been away all weekend, chat soon, hugs xxx
