Hi, So tim and I have had the most relaxing weekend of eating, watching TV and generally chilling out. I am now sturggling big style to get my act together and do my school work. I really hate sunday afternoons so much, and it's sad because they used to be my favourite time of the week - roast dinner, songs of praise and realxing before the week ahead. For the past few weeks we have been so busy, and this weekend so lazy, that I haven't done my work till now... I am determined to get back into the swing of doing my planning on a sunday morning so I can relax before my week ahead.

Remind me again why I decided to become a teacher???

So tim has been really busy in his garden again, our greenhouse arrived yesterday so he has been building the base and sorting out where it's going and where our vegetable patch is going to go. He wants me to take photos when he is finished to put on my blog so keep an eye out for that!

We are also quite close to getting our porchway finished, we thought it would be good to get that done before the weather really turns so we have somewhere to hang out winter coats and put our wet boots!

Well no more gossip from us, I have no photos from this weekend so thought I would remind myself how big our gorgeous boys have grown!

And now look at them, they are such monsters now!
Well will post photos of our garden later tonight, chat again soon, Gemma xx

Hello,

well I have just had a lovely weekend, but missing Tim. He has gone to the lake district walking, he had a fab time (spoke to him this morning) and is now on his way home to me (yey).

I had a wonderful friday night with my friend Katie from Milverton, I drove down to Leamington straight from school and she cooked a fab curry and we drank some wine! Becky, Lou, Candy and Ann came round too to catch up and see my wedding photos, was fun to see everyone again!

Then I went to the zoo on Saturday with Laura, Fi and baby Wlliam, was really fantastic to catch up with them, we saw all the animals and had a picnic there too, very relaxing and we had perfect weather for it - was hot and sunny all day!

Baby William has grown so much and is chatting away, well in his own little baby language anyway!

I had better scoot now, am off to cook tim a lamb and dumpling stew from scratch... wasn't happy buying lamb necks.. but that's what my recipe says... hope tim approves! I love being a house wife!!! (well at weekends anyway!!!!)

EDITED!!!!

OKAY, so I just had to take the photos of chatsworth off cause one of the teachers at work said i wasn't allowed to put them on, apparently we were given a warning not to put photos on websites... ???? i am a bit confused as to why, seems silly to me???? anyway took them off as didn't want to get into trouble... not that anyone other my mum, judith, ant and granny read this!!!! he he he... oh and beth??? if you are still there reading my blog???? xxx

Hello, it has been ages since I last wrote, it's because I have started back at school and it is madly busy! Trying to sort timetables and get children into my routines, my new class are quite naughty and are very slow at everything so have to train them to speed up at tidying away, settling down to work etc etc... I sense it is going to be a LONG, noisy term... argh!

Tim and I had a fab weekend, lots of chilling out (I even had a nap on saturday!!! BLISS!) and went to Bakewell on Sunday for an explore. I discovered an AMAZING toy shop which had an entire floor of jigsaw puzzles... was soooooooooooo mesmerizing... I loved it! I could have spent a small fortune!

Then today, I have just had my staff meeting in Chatsworth Gardens, was wonderful. A bit of fresh air after a long day in the classroom was just what I needed, it's a shame it takes so long to get there from where I work. The sculptures that are there for the next few weeks were amazing, I loved the baby one above, it was so incredible as it was balancing on it's tiny hand!

This one was made up of words and random letters. We are bringing my class for a school trip some time in October, I am hoping to have a week or so off timetable and do lots of art work! will be fun fun fun!!!
Below is a Salvador Dali one, quite funky but the boys in my class are bound to get silly over the nipples... hmmm boys!
Here is a great circle of bodies made of metal with tiny bodies all over the bigger ones. I am going to do photography with my class to recreate it and some distance perspective photos too!
Here is Einstein looking for love on the internet...
Oscar scowling at Einstien for hogging the computer...
Well no gossip at all this end, I have an exciting weekend ahead - back to Leamington on Friday night for a night out with my friends from Milverton, I miss working with them soooo much! Then I am off to the zoo with Laura, Fi and baby William on Saturday! Tim is off to the Lakes if it is sunny, if not he may come with me or have a chilled out evening here!

Best scoot as have work in the morning and am tired out, big hugs, gemma xxx
