Ok so I should have started by putting the last of the evening pictures on first then the early on in the evening pictures as they are backwards as you look at them! Oh well!!! just remember these first few photos were at 1am after a lot of wine and cocktails!!! so much fun!

I know this is prob really dull for you but here are more kitten photos.. they have settled in so well but are such climbers!! they will happily shimmy up your leg with their claws as you walk past!!! I already am covered in tiny claw scratches... and they look so innocent!!!




They just love human contact and whenever they sleep they want to be on you, yesterday they both fell asleep on me then one moved to tim and settled in his arms then the other one stood up moved to tim and fell asleep again (see above!)

well better scoot, they are currently on my lap watching me type. I love having lap cats...

tim busy sanding our second bedroom, when he finishes I will have to actually leave my kitten room and go do some painting. Not sure how I will be able to leave them next week when I have to go back to work. They are just so tiny.

So what a crazy christmas!! Work party, last week at school, moving house, christmas in kent (which was relaxing and fun, got to see my mum and sam) then kittens!!!!! We collected them today. I promise i will put work party photos on when I have more time but for now here are OSCAR AND EINSTEIN!!!! They are gorgeous, cute, naughty, energetic, playful... they climb up us and pounce all over the place! playing one minute then sleeping the next. I love them!!!!!

Hi, another photo of our kittens!! Sooo cute! I can't wait to pick them up, having been doing my research on how to transport kittens and what to do the first few weeks. Such a big responsibility! I feel very grown up, like a mum!!!

So this week has been a busy one but almost over thank god, only one week to go being apart from tim! Not long now till we are relaxing in our new home together with our little babies (kittens that is!!).

I have finished my christmas shopping at last and wrapped them all up. Christmas cards are written and sent. I feel super duper organised now. I spent this afternoon (my last PPA time) wandering round the shops in leam feeling really christmassy. One shop had this mulled apple juice to taste and it is HEAVENLY!!! So much yummier than mulled wine, it is from america it's called Aspen Mulling Spices (www.aspenspices.com) AMAZING!!! I am drinking it now at the same time as watching some kids movie and doing a christmas jigsaw... my idea of relaxtion!!

Hello, here are our two kittens!!! EEESHHHK! we are so excited about getting our house kitten ready and picking them up after christmas. What a fab start to the new year!

So tim's mum and dad came up to see our house, they really liked it and have helped us out in the garden. They have done a fab job with Tim clearing the front and back garden of all the huge over grown brambles and other plants that have gotten out of control. It now looks like a really big garden with loads of potential! When spring time comes around we can have such fun planting new seeds, getting the grass nicely mown and sorting out all the borders! And our christmas tree now looks even better!

The birds were loving all this turned up soil, the poor worms didn't stand a chance today!!
Also exciting news, Tim and I have found some kittens which we are 99% going to get! They are cross bengal and siamese and ready to pick up after christmas. We are very excited but now have to put some effort into making our house kitten proof and making a little snug for them to live in whilst they are too small to go outside, and we also have to think of some names.... they are apricot coloured and boys, any ideas welcome??!!

So Tim is still stuck on 152 just outside Derby, he has moved about 3 miles in just under 3 hours... how crap are the police over here that they can't clear an accident and get traffic moving on a friday night without closing roads and causing hours worth of delays... it is SHITE!!! sorry for porr language just so cross.

So Tim is going to turn around as soon as he can and head back to our house, I have phoned for a take away and have cracked open the wine. At least he can have a lie in tomorrow and won't be shattered all weekend. Poor baby!!! he was so looking forward to catching up with his phd lot...

Dressed up and no-where to go!!!

Hi, so tim was meant to be driving down tonight and we were going to go to his Supervisors house for dinner with Tim's old pHD group. I was really looking forward to getting dressed up and seeing our friend Little Anna, who I haven't seen in ages. So I rush from work to tescos to get wine, nibbles for getting ready, shaving foam etc etc and then rush home to get dolled up. I had the most luxurious soak in the bath then had fun getting ready while Tim set off from work.

So he set off at 4.30pm ish and at 6pm he was still on the road to get out of Derby, in fact as we speak (6.43pm) he is still on it!!! ARGH!!! Poor thing, bloody traffic really stuffs up ones plans!!!

So now, we will miss the dinner party as Tim doesn't think he will be here in time even if the traffic miraculously starts moving now. So I am all dressed up with no-where to go and no Tim to appreciated me... oh dear. Hopefully he will get here soon.

Our kitchen and dining room now looking a little christmassy, I wander how long it will take for Tim to get annoyed with these dangling in his way every time he wants a cup of tea!!!

Below is our grgeous snug, we now have our TV in there with our sofa bed to sit on, fariy lights to make it christmassy. We are not going to get a tree this year as our flat is being tidied and cleaned ready to get our deposit back and our house just isn't ready for one, next year we will make up for it by getting an extra large christmas tree!!!
I have put up our nativity scene, isn't it beautiful?

Well better go now, off tohave a long soak in the bath then going ot bed ready for another long week of christmas concert rehearsals with our tired snotty children!!! Bring on Christmas hols!!! only 3 weeks left - YEYYYY!!!
