Hi,

so I am very excited as Mum and Sam are coming over TOMORROW!! I am looking forward to seeing them and especially for MUm to come wedding dress shopping with me! I found this photo from last summer and thought I would put it on! Over Easter we are going to see Tim's parents but I don't have a photo of us with them so you just get to see a photo of Ben instead! Isn't he gorgeous?

And here is my YUMMY fiance Tim and his horse Ben, both as handsome as each other!

Well as you have probably gathered I have nothing of interest to say as I have been at work all day where nothing exciting ahs happened (except the making of the most wonderful musical instruments ever and covering my floor with rice and lentils) and then since being at home I have cooked, cleaned and tidied ready for my mum to approve of!!

so I had better stop boring you and go do some work - I have got to get my literacy planned for next week so I don't have to work this weekend!

Then off to bed so tomorrow comes round quicker!!

Puppet shows!!

Hello,

so I have had an extremely long week at school again, but also an extremely lazy one. I feel so exhausted after ofsted that I have found it hard to get back into the swing of it all, especially cleaning and cooking at home. I have loads of washing and cleaning to do but can't be bothered... I know I will have to do it by thursday as mum and sam are coming over and I want our litte flat to look gorgeous!! I just need to get inspired.

I am also feeling rather lazy due to lack of going to the gym. I have walked to school three days out of five which I think was rather good and made it to the gym on Tuesday and yesterday, but have also eaten far too much chocolate too. There is ALWAYS cake in our staff room and my will power is at 0 at the moment... I will try harder this week I promise!

I did however have a great day at school on friday. We did an entire day of literacy in my classroom linked to science, speaking and listening, art, design technology and drama!! It was so fantastic that it made me realise why I do teaching and love it (most of the time!). We based it on a book we have been working on earlier in the week called 'Where the forest meets the sea' and decided to make a setting in a box (a bit like a puppet theatre) then make animal puppets, then act out scenarios/stories using the puppets and setting, take photos, put on computer then put on to powerpoint and add words/sentences/ stories that the children wrote!! It worked fantastically and we ended up with a great power point presentation!! Plus the children had such a great day!

Anyway, no more news from me. Oh except that mum is coming wedding dress shopping with me on thursay!! I am so excited for her to see me dressed in a wedding dress! How strange for her to see her little baby in a wedding dress!!

We sent save the date cards too the other day - just to family who live a far and didn't know the date yet! Was fun to make them but not half as fun as it will be to make the real invitations!! Tim and I feel like we could do it all this year we are so organised but is also fun to be engaged for a year and enjoy the exciting things happening this year first before getting married. Hopefully we will be buying a house this year as soon as tim gets a job then who knows what after that??!!

Hello there anyone reading my blog,

so diet wise I have had a hard day. I walked to school and am still aching from my first visit to the gym in ages on saturday! I have had a headache all day which I swear is becuase my body is dealing with withdrawel symptoms of chocolate!!!!

I am determined to loose a few pounds so I only had 2 fajitas tonight instead of my usual 3...

I am also enjoying this milder weather and am looking forward to the sunnier days spring and summer will bring. I think it helps to get me in the dieting frame of mind.

Tracey and I are flying to guernsey in a few weeks which i can't wait for. We are going to explore the hotel Tim and I are having our wedding reception in, they do spa days so Tracey and I are going to chill out and relax after this crazy term at school. We also get to see my gorgoues baby boy, Marma!!! I cannot wait to have a huge cuddle with him, I soooooo miss having a pet.

"Shiver me timbers"

I just HAD to put this photo on of one of the children in my class. I of course had to blur out the face but I think you can get the gist of it! The child was totally unaware I was taking photos of my class and the role play area and I captured the moment perfectly. The child is dressed as a pirate in the pirate ship and was TOTALLY in character!!! In the actual photo the child has got eyes shut and is grinning away!!! brilliant!!

after the most crazy week of my life (ok slight exagration but it really was stressful)
I haven't had time to write at all cause at the beginning of the week I was madly busy getting ready for ofsted and generally worrying but Wednesday actually went really well. I had an observation and an interview which was very scary, but was very positive and I think I did Milverton proud. The report is out in 2 weeks and is going to be a good one!!

So last weekend in the middle of all this stressy-ness, Anna, Kate and Helen came up to stay. We did lots of shopping, chatting, drinking and dancing in the union. We also went to a wedding dress shop in leamington but unfortunately I didn't find any I liked. I will keep looking!!

So since wednesday Tim has taken me out to dinner, drank far too much bubbly and relaxed a lot. We have had such a lazy weekend - well deserved! Tim has been working very hard with writing a paper and applying for jobs so he needed a good break too.

We went for a lovely walk today too which was lovely followed by a pint and pudding in our local pub! Lovely!!!

Anna, Tim and Kate - Tim looks rather sickly as he was dressed as a demon. I did his face paints (white, grey, green and black) then half way through the night he rubbed it off as it was so hot and sweaty in the union but now every photo of him makes him look very ill!!!

Well I promise I will write a bit more. I have decided it is that time of year again - with summer on its way so I am going to keep you updated on my diet progress. It may also inspire me to be good if I know I am writing it on here for people to read. Ant and mum please keep me motivated!!!

No more pints and puddings for me!!! (well maybe if it is a special treat if I stay good all week!!)

Hi,

Sorry I haven't been writing recently. I have had my birthday which was lovely in some ways but awful in other ways... I had parents evening on my birthday so was at school from 7.45am till 9pm!!! A very long day.

The good thing was tim and I went out for dinner the day before my birthday which was lovely and my friends from uni (anna, kate and helen) came up to celebrate with me.

The biggest stress of all however is our school had the dreaded phonecall from OFSTED!!!! ARGHHHHHH!!!
No it will be fine really but it has meant I had to postpone friends coming on friday night so I could work all evening (after parents evenings this week all I wanted was to drink wine and relax - no chance!) and had to get rid of them early today to go into school. It was such a shame but we did have a great time yesterday day (trying on more wedding dresses!) and last night (school days in the union with tim and all his hockey friends!)

Here is a picture that Little Anna sent me today. I have got lots of photos from world book day last week and last night in the union so I promise I will add photos and chat properly next time.

I have to go do some more work now so chat soon when I have had a sleep and not so stressed!!!
